C. Michael Arnold grew up in Parkville, Missouri, andmoved to Oregon in 1998 for law school. He and his wife, Jacy Arnold, chose Eugene, Oregon, due to its proximity to the natural beauty that the stateof Oregon has to offer. While at the University of Oregon School of Law,Michael and Jacy became avid hikers and backpackers. They spent a lot of timebackpacking the wilderness area northeast of Sweet Home, Oregon. Theyparticular enjoyed trout fishing on Oregon’s Donaca Lake after a longold-growth forest hike, after traversing creeks and the river swollen fromspring snowmelt. They also enjoyed spending time up Oregon’s Highway 242,backpacking up to Linton Lake, through the lava fields, to pan fry somefresh-caught lake trout.
However, as time progressed, Michael Arnold replacedbackpacking in the basic necessities with whitewater rafting, which allowsluxury meals to accompany wilderness dining. Eugene attorney MichaelArnold enjoys rafting because it allows you to get deep into Oregon and PacificNorthwest wilderness areas quickly and with lots of supplies. Being locatedin Eugene, Oregon, Michael Arnold can use this central location as a jump-offpoint to access their favorite Oregon rivers, such as North Fork of the MiddleFork Willamette River’s gorge as well as heading south to the Rogue.
